Noah's Festival of Life originated in 2009

following her three open heart surgeries she underwent that year. She wished nothing more than to celebrate her homecoming with a carnival-like festival in her backyard full of games and cotton candy and among all of her friends and family. It was a day for all of us to celebrate life together and to be thankful for the countless support from all of our friends and family.

Since then, we have expanded Noah's Festival of Life into a fundraising effort that includes a silent auction and raffle aimed to help heart families across the country with financial assistance. To date, Noah's Festival of Life has raised over $100,000 and have helped over 100 families. We know first hand what it is like to be thrown into the emotional strain of watching our daughter go through the unthinkable while at the same time feeling the financial burden of the many things that coincide with long hospital stays.

The Hopeful Hearts Foundation is the recipient of funds raised during Noah's Festival of Life. All net proceeds go to defraying the expenses accrued during a child's extended hospitalization. They provide assistance with such expenses as travel, lodging, food and parking, as well as care packages for families during their hospital stay. Hopeful Hearts also strives to raise awareness of CHD along with funds for research and early detection––with the end goal of improving the outcomes for those affected by CHD.
